Whether you're just starting out or an experienced sailor aiming to refine your skills, Paignton Sailing Club offers the perfect course for you!

Our extensive selection of RYA courses is led by a team of qualified instructors and includes:

Youth Training Stages 1-4 (ages 8 to 16),

Adult Learn to Sail Levels 1-3,

Racing and performance sailing,

Powerboat Training Levels 1 & 2,

Safety Boat Training,

Assistant Instructor

Dinghy instructor

First aid course.

VHF courses.

Race Coach Level 2 course.

 We boast a wide fleet of club-owned sailing dinghies suitable for all skill levels, along with several powerboats.

 As an affiliated Recognised Training Centre of the Royal Yachting Association, our venue undergoes annual inspections to ensure compliance with strict safety and teaching standards. Our training programs are managed in accordance with established Operating Procedures, available on our website under Club Policy and Procedure.

To reserve your place, non-members need to create an account on our site—an adult (parent or guardian) must register as the contact. You can choose to enrol yourself or someone else, entering full participant details at the time of booking. The course fee for the Learn to sail courses includes full membership for the participant, and for junior participants, an Associate membership for the adult contact until next March 31st.
