About us

Paignton Sailing Club, located on the harbourside within the scenic Paignton harbour at the heart of the English Riviera, provides opportunities for both learning to sail and participating in dinghy racing. The club ensures easy and safe access to the centre of the Bay from the quiet, sheltered Paignton harbour, serving as an active centre for sailing education and regional and national racing events. Members and visitors can expect a welcoming atmosphere and an enthusiastic sailing community.

The club caters to sailors of all experience levels, offering a wide selection of dinghy classes such as 2000, Blaze, ILCA, Fireball and RS Aero, as well as options specifically designed for juniors, including Toppers and RS Fevas.  For those without their own boats, affordable rental options are available for every skill level.  The club can offer 2000, Laser, Fusion, Topper and RS Fevas.
